About Stories without words

The CD Stories Without Words does indeed contain pieces without lyrics. But through brilliant thematics and passionate playing, these instrumental compositions gain enormous expressive power. Really true music, so listen!

About Stories without words

This turns out to be a stroke of genius, because the melancholic sound of the clarinet proves to be a perfect match for the accordion (...) All in all, it's a wonderful album!

About Pendulum

Salvérius is an outstanding musician who has mastered her instrument to perfection. (...) Her compositions are melodious and clearly structured, and could easily be considered traditional. In other words: songs that were composed years ago, have stood the test of time, and are now being performed instrumentally.

Over Pendulum

Pendulum's music revolves around connecting extremes such as joy and sorrow, good and evil, inner world and outer world, and the resting point where those extremes meet, where the pendulum pauses for a moment. Thanks to Sara Salvérius' compositions, this results in wonderfully beautiful music in which melancholy always plays a leading role and which leaves the listener speechless.
The string players of the Sun*Sun*Sun Orkestra have a perfect feel for Salvérius' compositions, giving the music even more depth and warmth. This is music that listeners are best advised to surrender to with their eyes closed, so they can enjoy this unique ensemble's musical journey together with them. Magnificent.

About Equinox

And that is precisely where Salvérius makes the biggest impression. For many people, an accordion still has little to do with what is understood as contemporary or trendy sounds. Nevertheless, Equinox is highly recommended, because this artist has something that is even more valuable than the fad of the day: a collection of compositions that keeps the distance between head, gut and fingers as short as possible and cannot be pinned down to a style or period, let alone a fashionable whim. Equinox stands tall because, like the best hardcore punk, country or free jazz, it comes from the heart and has a universal, timeless story to tell. Very, very beautiful.

About Equinox

Beautiful, melancholic, compelling, intimate, passionate, and with melodies that stay with you. Equinox is a slightly addictive record that almost felt too short for me. Fortunately, you can just play it again, because this music never gets boring. A sublime, intimate masterpiece!

About Trapped in Sight

Beautiful compositions, clear in structure with folk-oriented melodies, almost songs without words, where the intensity of the music speaks for itself. Salvérius plays with restraint, makes beautiful use of dynamics and lets her soul speak through her music, making the accordion cry in '21 January', expressing powerlessness in the title track, hope in 'Tiptoe' or the search and despair that can be heard in 'Kalileo'. The accordion sound, the compositions and the performance – everything comes together so perfectly on this album that it makes this CD organically beautiful. I've rarely heard such a personal album; it's a real treat!
